Styling questions
Premium Jersey is the easiest fabric to learn on. Its gentle four-way stretch grips itself, so wraps hold their place without constant adjusting, and it drapes evenly with very little practice. Once you are comfortable, modal and chiffon add movement, and satin brings shine for occasions.
Start with a foundation: a seamless or full-coverage under scarf gives the fabric something to grip, and a no-slip headband holds the front edge in place. Secure folds with magnet pins rather than traditional pins to avoid snags. Grippier fabrics like jersey naturally stay put longer than smooth satin or chiffon.
The standard length is a long rectangle that gives full coverage and plenty of fabric for layered, draped and wrapped styles. The mini is a shorter, lighter cut of the same cloth, made for shoulder-grazing drapes and quick turbans with less bulk to manage.
Lustre Satin is the occasion fabric. Its soft sheen photographs beautifully and dresses up an outfit instantly. Pair it with a full-coverage under scarf for a clean base, since smooth satin holds best over a gripped foundation.
Hand wash cold, or machine wash on a gentle cycle inside a delicates bag. Lay flat or hang to dry, and use a cool iron if needed. Jersey relaxes back to a soft, even drape; satin and chiffon should be kept off high heat to protect the finish. For more, see our care & shipping notes.
