I should have gotten a navy color because the pure black is a little too stark on me... but that's my fault. The material is excellent, very soft and breathable, and is amazing for wrap styles. You don't need an undercap because it's completely opaque. Again my only issue is the color - it is VERY dark, but that's my fault for not ordering a softer color.
